I'm Austin Strickland — a retired Navy Corpsman and Apollo Beach local. My path to yoga and breathwork didn't start in a studio. It started underwater.
I got into breathwork to become a better spearfisherman — to stay calm, go deeper, stay longer. What I didn't expect was what it did for the rest of my life. Gradually, the practice started showing up everywhere. Managing chronic pain. Processing the mental weight that comes with military service. Finding stillness in a life that had always been in motion.
I'm not here to sell you a lifestyle. I'm here because this stuff works — and I want to bring it to this community, at sunset. The Reset is an adult practice — a space designed for stillness, not spectacle. Veterans, neighbors, adults who've never done yoga a day in their life.
Show up. See for yourself.
Controlled breathing techniques that regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and increase oxygen efficiency. Used by freedivers, military, and athletes — now brought to the beach.
Movement designed to release tension, unlock tight muscles, and restore blood flow. No chanting, no mysticism — just functional movement that your body will thank you for.
Apollo Beach Park at golden hour. Bring a mat if you have one — grass works too. Show up in whatever you're wearing. The only requirement is showing up.
Show up, drop your stuff, find a spot. No rush, no roll call. Take a minute to decompress from the day before we begin.
15–20 minutes of guided breathing techniques — box breathing, diaphragmatic work, controlled retention. This isn't hype. It regulates your nervous system and it works fast.
25–30 minutes of functional movement designed to release what's tight and wake up what's dormant. All levels welcome — modifications always available, nothing is mandatory.
We close with a short cool down and a moment of stillness. The sun sets over Tampa Bay. That part takes care of itself.
No agenda. Stick around, talk, connect — or head out. Either is good. Community builds over time and this is where it starts.
Yoga and breathwork at Apollo Beach Park every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at sunset. An adult practice — all experience levels welcome.
Small-group morning practice at 7:30 AM — breathwork, movement, and cold plunge. 4 people max. Intimate, intentional, and led personally by Austin. $50 per session. Join the waitlist →
Monthly Saturday gatherings featuring breathwork workshops and guest wellness practitioners. A community reset, once a month.
Dedicated sessions for military veterans and first responders navigating the transition to civilian life — using holistic tools to support mental health and identity.
Personal coaching combining breathwork, movement, and practical mindset tools for people ready to make a deeper change — in their body, their habits, and their life.
It means you contribute what feels right for the value you receive. There's no charge to show up, but this practice costs real money to sustain — equipment, permits, programming. If it moves you, support it. Venmo link is on this page.
Zero experience required. This is built for people who have never stepped on a mat as much as it is for people who have. Every movement has an easier version. You do what your body allows.
A yoga mat if you have one — the grass works fine if you don't. Water. Comfortable clothes you can move in. That's it. Show up as you are.
If a session is cancelled due to weather, you'll get an email notification — join the list below. If you haven't heard anything, we're on. Lightning or severe weather is the only reason we cancel.
We meet at the waterfront area of Apollo Beach Park, 6800 Golf and Sea Blvd, Apollo Beach FL 33572. Look for the group on the grass near the water at 6:30 PM — you'll find us.
Yes. The Reset is designed for adults of all experience levels and fitness backgrounds — beginners welcome. Sessions are kept approachable and are not high-intensity. Please note: The Reset is an adult practice and is not designed for children.
Get updates on sessions and events. We're building something real here — a group of adults who show up, breathe, move, and take their wellbeing seriously.
The Reset runs on community support. If this practice has brought you value, a donation keeps it going — it covers equipment, park permits, and future programming. Give what feels right.
